Edenred chosen by over 70 government departments after first year


First year of new employee services framework sees over 70 government departments and agencies choose Edenred


Twelve months on from its appointment by Crown Commercial Service as the sole and exclusive provider of employee benefits and reward solutions to UK government, Edenred is today announcing it is on target to provide employee benefits to over 70 government departments and agencies.

At the end of the first year a total of 44 departments and agencies have launched new employee benefits portals with Edenred.

A further 30 departments and agencies will follow the initial group of government bodies, which included central government departments such as Defra, the Department for Transport, the Department of Health and the Gambling Commission, and agencies such as Ofsted, the Home Office and Crown Commercial Services.

Edenred is providing a range of employee benefits including childcare vouchers, cycle-to-work, charity giving and employee savings schemes through a web-based platform which also allows delivery of employee reward and recognition schemes.

Each government client can choose the range of benefits it offers and customise the platform so it is in line with the visual identity of the individual department or agency. Beneficiaries can also personalise the benefits they receive.

The Edenred employee benefits platform allows each government client an easy way to switch from its legacy benefits provision and recently received pan-government security accreditation for the way personal data is stored and managed.
